Home/ Villa Shifting and Private Home Relocation in Goa
YOUR MOVE, UNDERSTOOD
Villa Shifting with a defined scope
A villa move is more than a change of address. Bedrooms on different floors, a full kitchen, large living-room furniture, patio pieces and fragile decorations all need a clear destination plan. Goa Prime Relocation helps organise the inventory by room, review access at both properties and agree the packing, handling and transport before moving day. Whether you are settling into a new villa, changing a rental property or clearing rooms for renovation, we plan around your belongings and the practical conditions at each home.

A PLAN FOR THE WHOLE PROPERTY
Every room. Every detail. One moving plan.
A useful villa-moving plan accounts for the spaces between the rooms as well as the belongings inside them.
01
Living rooms, bedrooms and study spaces
Sofas, dining sets, bed frames, wardrobes and work desks can have very different handling needs. We start with their size, condition and access route, then agree suitable wrapping and any furniture work. Room labels help the receiving team place each piece without unnecessary movement.
02
Kitchenware, glass and personal collections
Kitchen contents, mirrors, ornaments and artwork should be identified before packing. Separate everyday cartons from breakables, photograph important items and explain any special handling requirements. Keep cash, jewellery and irreplaceable personal documents with you rather than in the consignment.
03
Driveways, stairs and property protection
A villa may have a narrow gate, sloping approach, long garden path or tight staircase. Photos and measurements help determine a practical carrying route. Discuss protection for vulnerable floors, corners and entrances, along with parking and permissions, before the crew arrives.
04
Patio pieces and outdoor belongings
Outdoor seating, planters, exercise equipment and stored tools are easy to overlook during a survey. List these separately, remove loose soil or water where appropriate and flag very heavy pieces. Plants, unusual items and specialist equipment require prior acceptance rather than an assumption that they can travel.
05
Renovation and staged villa movement
When only part of a villa is being refurbished, a planned sequence can keep agreed areas accessible. Identify the first rooms to clear, temporary holding spaces and the order in which goods should return. Storage, repeated trips and work beyond the original scope must be confirmed separately.
06
Arrival, placement and first-night essentials
Share a simple room plan and identify priority cartons before unloading. Keep the receiving person available, check the carton count and inspect accessible furniture at handover. Optional unpacking or furniture reassembly should be included in the quotation; specialist appliance connections need a separate arrangement.
The working plan
From your first enquiry to handover
01
Survey the whole home
List each room, floor, storage space and outdoor area. Share photos of oversized furniture, fragile items and narrow access points.
02
Agree the move plan
Confirm the packing materials, crew, vehicle, access permissions, furniture work and receiving contact in the quotation.
03
Pack by destination
Protect the agreed items and label them for the new villa. Keep essentials separate and identify belongings needed first on arrival.
04
Place and hand over
Unload in a practical sequence, place items in the agreed rooms, count packages and record any visible concern before closing the move.
Before the team arrives
Prepare for a smoother service
Walk through every floor, attic, storeroom and terrace before finalising the inventory.
Measure large furniture against doors, stair turns and the entrance at the new property.
Confirm gate access, parking, society permissions and permissible working hours in advance.
Empty and dry appliances; arrange qualified electrical or plumbing work separately unless included in writing.
Keep keys, documents, jewellery, medicines and a first-night bag with you.
Identify fragile artwork, plants, heavy outdoor pieces and high-value goods before quoting.
Share a room plan with the receiving contact so unloading does not require repeated carrying.
Confirm specialist work, high-value goods or access restrictions in writing. Items outside the agreed scope may require a revised plan.
Questions answered
Before you confirm
Can you move a furnished villa?
Yes, a furnished-villa move can be discussed after reviewing the inventory and access. Identify items belonging to the owner separately from your personal goods so nothing outside your permission is moved.
Can furniture be dismantled and assembled again?
Suitable beds, tables and other furniture may be considered. Share photographs and construction details first. Built-in units, specialist fittings and installation work are not included unless specifically agreed.
Do you handle villas with more than one floor?
Share the floor levels, stair width, turning space and lift details where applicable. These conditions affect the crew, handling method and schedule. Unsafe or unsuitable access must be resolved before moving.
Can I arrange a room-by-room or renovation move?
A staged move can be planned around your renovation sequence, access windows and available space. State which rooms stay in use and whether any goods need separate storage.
Are patio furniture and garden items included?
List them separately with their dimensions and condition. Large, fragile, wet or unusually heavy items may need a different handling plan; acceptance and packing must be agreed beforehand.
Can you move a villa household outside Goa?
Interstate movement can be discussed for the confirmed route. Inventory, vehicle arrangement, transit window and receiving access determine the plan. Any car, bike or temporary storage service should be quoted separately.
How is the quotation prepared?
The quotation considers volume, packing materials, crew, floors, carrying distance, vehicle access, route and optional support. A bedroom count alone is not enough for an accurate scope.
What happens if the new villa is not ready?
Tell the team before dispatch. A revised delivery plan or temporary storage may be considered subject to availability and separate terms. Do not assume storage is automatically included.
Hotel shifting requires careful sequencing because guest rooms, reception areas, kitchens, offices and back-of-house equipment may each have different priorities.
